non scope sight options

non scope sight options
potential buyer for my matrix 380 asked if there were non scope options for them, eg pin type sights. And I was not sure what to tell him? Any ideas?
Re: non scope sight options
Bad River Outdoors. Tagged Out sights, I have them on my Kodabow, really nice. I think some are available for Excalibur Crossbows too.

Re: non scope sight options
is that the unrivaled sight? the tag out range finder piece goes in the front of it? whats the hole setup weigh ? pictures please
Re: non scope sight options
Not sure of the weight, but it is less than a scope I believe. Very adjustable, and I have the range finding inserts, they work well with a little practice.

wow, it has been a few years since I visited their website, and it looks like the model i have has been replaced with the unrivaled series. That looks sweet, but I like the tagged out model better. Contact David @ Wyvern Creations, that is where I bought mine. Maybe he still has some.

Re: non scope sight options
thanks dan im going to look into the unrivaled set up for my bd400.looks like the hole set up sits on the scope rail
Re: non scope sight options
It looks pretty slick. Not crowded like mine, but I have gotten used to them. I never take that bow hunting anymore, too many Excalibur Crossbows to choose from.

Re: non scope sight options
$300 ouch!. What were the original sights on the exo etc worth?
Re: non scope sight options
Well I just flip flopped on this. Just received an opportunity to do some pest animal culling year round on a large farm, bows only allowed( due to noise and range constraints). I was selling the crossbow as I needed the money, but looks like it will be one of my rifles getting the axe now.

Re: non scope sight options
SEE ALL open sights mount on the scope rail. Work pretty well, under 100.00
Re: non scope sight options
I have one, if you are interested... The original Bad River sight... I had it on my Exocet 200. Only reason I stopped using it was, I had switched to a Red Dot sight.otisbrazwell wrote: ↑Mon Jun 25, 2018 7:35 amwyverns hasn't had a call for them in some time so he has none. id try the unrivaled
