Right down to the wire ! ( edit , added picture )

Post by R.J. »

Man we have been hard at it since Monday ! We have a couple of 60 + year old gents in the group that are still busting cover in less than disireable conditions .... snow shoes have been a must !! Red Label and Sandman can vouch for the conditions since they have both been out this week humping thru the deep snow on drives ! Man we have had brutal cold , snow , freezing rain , wild wind .... you name it ! A real test to equipment and warm weather gear !!

Finaly weather got a milder the last couple of days and we connected on a few deer ! We saw deer on all drives today and Sniper Heimbecker took down another beauty doe .

I had a great PM stand , saw turkeys , saw many does and connected on a nice 8 point . Will post some pictures later .... off to bed , tomorrow is the last day !

Good luck to the rest of you guys that will be trudging through the snow hunting whitetails tomorrow !

Here is the only picture I have right now , just got one pic on the tail gate .

I'm just packing up my truck and heading out in about 10 mins .... basically I'm dogging today .... still one 60+ year old gent in our group that hasn't had a shot yet .... hope today is the day for him!

Have a Happy New Year ! .... My birthday is tomorrow , so I will be relaxing for sure !!

BTW , you have a PM .
