Blazer Vanes

Post by Ridger »

Hi all,

This may be a dumb question, however are blazer vanes for compound arrows usable for crossbow bolts?

I'm cleaning out my inventory and wondering if I can hang on to extra vanes for bolt use.

I wasn't sure if there were "bolt specific" blazer vanes or if they are all compatible.

Thx!

I just switched over to Blazer vanes this season and love them! They steer the arrows better with 100gn heads.

There is only one Blazer vane and can be used in either type of bow.
BTW, not all crossbows can use a Blazer vane because they are the tallest and not all mainframe flight grooves are deep enough to accommodate them.

I’m using them and the Arizona E-Z Fletch like described in the above post with no issues! 👍🏻

Thanks all!

Boo - What bows would not allow for Blazer vanes to be used? If you are familiar with this.

Thx

I'm sure Ten Point and Middleton. Not sure about which others but there are more. Often, clipping a vane can correct the issue.
