doe this morning pic

Post by terry1 »

Well I bagged my first ever Jan deer a a little doe this morning. This is only the second year since my state added a Jan. doe season and last year I had all ready tagged out so I never had a chance to hunt then. It was a rare warm humid morning here for Jan. and the fog was so think I could only see about 50 yards when she came in. I was hideing in a ceder tree ground blind and made a nice 27 yard shot perfect double lung with my Exocet and holo-sight she was down in about 40 yards. This one should be great eating very fat for her size I can't wait to cook up the back straps! Still have one last doe tag but I think this will fill the freezer enough so I doubt I will use it. You always heve to leave some for next year!! Image

sight

Gary, the holo-sight is alot like a red dot, but the 1moa dot and other ring seems to float out in front of sight about 50 yards. It nearly looks like it is a laser dot on the deer.

Good Job. How do you like the holosight. I am interested in how it gathers light at dusk. Do you think it lets you see and shoot a deer better at dusk than a red dot or a scope would. About how much does a holo sight cost.
