REPORT FROM THE RANGE-SIGHTING IN THE A420TD

Post by amythntr »

....Optics were changed from a Leupy Crossbones to a Hawke XB-30...low rings

.....Took the 40 minute drive to the range I belong to.

.....brought my rest and support to shoot off.

.....leaving out the gory details, I am happy to report that I have sighted in the "Assassinatore di Cervi" (AKA A420TD)... :eusa-clap:

.....20, 30, 40, and 50 were dead on.... :eusa-clap:

.....I really do love the Hawke XB-30 over the Leupy Crossbones....

.....Hope to take this bad boy out "extended bow" in the mountains of The People's Republic of NJ.... :eusa-dance:

....Oh by the way, I am a big fan of Vixenmaster's strings....they hold up very well....so far I have taken about 50 shots out of the A420TD and nary a noticeable change in the serving (nor the limb)s....just waiting for the Ex-Shots to take off for parts unknown! :eusa-think:
