Yeah, it's a great feeling. I was more excited to get my Excalibur than my first brand new truck. They're deadly accurate and tons of fun.

I'll bet you will never shoot any other brand of crossbow!The first crossbow i ever shot was a horton and it was great or so i thought ,till i shot a vixen and there's no comparison in accuracy or reliability.The excalibur is the best crossbow made .Period.(I should have been a salesman

Congrats FredBear - If it was new, you may well have gotten one of the last ones!

Despite talk of "overkill" for Ohio whitetails, I got the ExoMag too - no regrets whatsoever - I can cover most three shot groups with a quarter - and all but one of the groups I've shot so far had two holes touching. Couple that with the speed and reliability - awesome.

If you haven't already got it - and can swing it - I highly recommend a Vari-Zone scope.
