If you are shooting close to 285 FPS or a bit slower then you would probably want to avoid the Dead Zone scope. The Dead Zone scope has a speed range between 300 FPS and 410 FPS, you would probably be better off to try and find a Vari Zone scope, as it is listed as having a speed range between 250 and 350 FPS. I did see a few sites listing the Vari Zone as bracketing 240-360 FPS, although either way it should nicely bracket the speed of your Wolverine if you are near 285 FPS.

One other option if you want to only have a single crosshair would be an HHA Optimizer along with a scope, this option will start to cost considerably more than just a Vari Zone scope. Can definitely fill in more details on this route if you would like.
