Sorry I missed this Dan. We are preparing to move closer to our cabin (8 miles instead of 28)
Glad to hear you are healing up good.

Staples were removed yesterday, and the exam. went great. I am not allowed to drive for another month, so of course I had to test that theory. :eusa-think:
Took Mom's car for a quick spin, and when I got to 20 mph I began feeling motion dizzy. Got home right away, at least I had enough sense not to drive my truck!
Now I have to start getting my strength back.
Thanks to all of you for the well wishes, and prayers.

First walk around the field since the surgery. The field is .4 miles long, and .3 miles wide, add in about 1/4 mile to the house, and a good walk indeed. I think one of the sources of my dizziness is my eye glasses, more specifically the bifocals. Anyway, it felt good to be out in the fall air, and close to the deer again. Plenty of fresh sign, but no deer were out, maybe at sundown.

Appointment went well, and I have all my privileges back! Drove home from the hospital today, felt like a 16 year old with a shiny new license.

I'm not sure since we got booted off the farm we were hunting. Might drag out the XT during Muzzle Loader season and take anything that gives me a good opportunity. :eusa-popcorn:
The Kid has a full freezer so he's not real ambitious to get out in the cold. :eusa-deadhorse:
