The Pioneer XT line is one of their newer offerings that offers waterproof, windproof and fully seam sealed fabric in a lightweight offering.
The outside fabric is soft and quiet and doesn't appear that it catch catch burrs.
The jacket offers a very long tail which is seldom seen and the jacket hood is perfect the way I see it.
The pants are like a hybrid bib design with a very high back offering belt loops ( not needed ) and suspenders . Somewhat baggy in the leg but acomfortable fit.
Together, with a long back jacket and high back pant one can expect to stay warm in tree stand of ground positions without the wind blowing up you butt.
We are very much looking forward to using RW this fall and expect the Pioneer XT to check all the boxes mid season depending how you layer.
SIZING: the Pioneer XT runs BIG. Patti below is 5'6" and 130 lb and purchased a SMALL Jacket and Pant ( on the advice of RW) with plenty of room to layer.
I choose Large , even at 6'4" and 210 lb, I have plenty of room, pant and arm length are good. Normally , I would wear at least XL or 2XXL.
Two camo patterns available, I got the Widow Maker Brown and Patti the Widow Maker Green. Both are excellent patterns.
