Not super modified "yet" Ha Ha, but I'm sure impressed with it as it is. tinkered with it a lot yesterday, mounted the vari-zone scope, learned how to manually string and use the cocking aid.
First shot 10yds,bout a 1/4 in. to the right.
Second shot 20yds. 1/2 in. high.
Boy, :D I'm having fun now...using the 1989 fff string, more twisting and adjusting required to set the brace.
Told Wayne I was having so much fun, I just wanted to tear it all down and start over again  .
I now feel like a full-fledged member of the forum group, thanks for steering me on the right path.

I is with ya on that one bstout, a very fun and neat (Best Looking) xbow. I do thing Excalibur should keep the black model as well as sell the deer Hide brown model. I like them both. Think I will be looking for a good deal on a DEER HIDE BROWN soon :!:

The Vixen is my first crossbow....I won't say I'll never get another Excal..but I am almost certain I won't be getting rid of it too soon!

I like black too, so much so that I changed my Phoenix to black.

I've had all the models except the Exomax, and wouldn't trade my Vixen for any of them. The Vixen is a sweet thing to shoot and in my opinion, the most accurate.

Just my 2 cents "Butt"

The Vixen is a "tack-driver" in my books, and it's nice to reduce target punishment.
