I know youse is funnin' and all - but count your stars you still have one another to hunt with - hell, just to spend time with.

I lost my dad when I was six years old, mom never remarried - Dad hunted and fished - he did pass on fishing to me - and had me shooting a .22 at the ripe old age of five. Sometimes I wish he'd had lived longer so we could go hunting and fishing together.. at an age when I could've appreciated it more. My own kids aren't as "country" as I was, but they're starting to show interest in the outdoors - I encourage them when I can.

Not looking for sympathy - I made peace with it long ago - But figgered I'd let you know how lucky you are and just tell you to cherish the days.

Believe me i talk to my dad as much as i can just gave him the money to order my first excalibur. You cant just trust anybody to do that!!!!

No but as you guys know he has plenty of excaliburs laying around should he try anything funny if you know what i mean including the phoenix which is what hes ordering fer me.
