Management Doesn't Care

Post by ComfyBear »

As an owner of Excalibur crossbows since the 1980's, it saddens me to see this forum go the way of the "dodo bird". The fact that the present owners do not seem to care about maintaining this once valuable advertising venue speak volumes. It indicates to me, a former VIP member, that they no longer valuable their customer base, and take them for granted.

The truth be known, due to not maintaining this forum, it has cost the company dearly, both in reduced sales and customer loyalty to the brand. Personally, I have purchased over a dozen Excalibur models over the years. However, the last one was purchased several years ago. Due to the current situation of this forum, and the lack of any interest to remedy it and cater to their customers, I have no desire to purchase or promote any Excalibur products in the future.

I saw the handwriting on the wall 10 minutes after Excalibur sold the company!

I COMPLETELY Concur ComfyBear.

Been around this site for a rather long time.
Made more than a few great Friends.
And yes, was part and parcel of the sense of "Community" that this Forum used to bring with it.

I find it more than sad that the powers-that-be have simply abandoned this once great Forum.
And I too view it as a failure to, and flagrant disregard for their customer base.

I believe Bill T. would share in our views on the matter.

Once I was a rather mighty supporter of the brand on many many sites.
These days... Not So Much. Image

And there is nothing "Cheery" about that whatsoever...

If you want to interact with Excalibur through social media they have a Facebook page with 31,000 members. They keep it up to date with product offerings and it allows you to interact on line directly with them. If you want to interact with other Excalibur owners and talk gear there is another page called Excalibur Crossbow Owners. They have 17,000 members and lots of traffic discussing all things Excalibur. These bulletin board style forums are going the way of the 8 track.
