Baiting while croosbow hunting for deer

Post by cuda45 »

i was talking to a hunting buddy this week-end and he said "it's legal to bait for deer while archary hunting." I always thought you can't have any bait in the area you are going to hunt for at least 7 days?
 Can any-one clear this up for me?

My group do it all the time. We don't actually hunt over the bait, but get 'em on the way in. The trail cam sits over the bait to "catch" the ones that sneak in. -JR

Also nice to see another member in eastern ontario region.
Stock Exomax and now a Micro 335. :)
