Congratulations!!!!!!!!
Glad to see some success stories for your opening day. Since I tagged out yesterday I took my almost 5 year old son out with me this evening to see wat we could call in. Had a hen within 10 yards of the blind, and two jakes within under 20 yards. Saw a total of 5 turkeys, and even managed to catch a garter snake, but he decided he didn't really want to hold it

My kids had no school to day so I took my 12 year old son with me. My 13 year old who has his apprenticeship hunting licence and turkey hunting licence was too sick to come. Boy was he pissed .

Way to go Peter!
I can't wait to take my little guy, he sure wants to go but he's a little young yet. It sure would be cool for him to see some birds come in though, he already thinks he knows all about Turkey Hunting!
Can't wait to share the real thing with him.
Great to hear of your success!
Enjoy the Harvest!

I mean that is a really nice Turkey, really nice. Good luck with the next one too, I look forward to another picture. Are you going to taxidermy this one. I was going to say mount him but that did not look right after I wrote it. What is the proper way to word that?
