Farmer,go to your local Canada Trash store service counter tell them you want a special order the Therocell unit and refills the CTC #s for them are 75-4640-4 for the unit. $39.99 and 75-4641-2 for the refills.

They order them thru the outdoors and garden center. You pay up front and wait for it.

You may also try Wal-mart, some body said they carry them also.

Do these things work? What about the cost of reusing them? How often do you have to replace the repellent pad and the butane cartridge?

They work great, the mats last about 4 hours. Replacement pads cost about $9 Can for 3 pads + butane.

Just thought I would add that Angler's Outfitter's in Woodstock has a whole rack full of the olive colour units, plus refill packs. He has no camo ones though.
I picked up two camo units at Stratford CT and they are getting more in, per outdoors clerk.

I've had a couple of Thermacells for a couple of years. The refills eats me alive in costs.

This is the very same cartridge that the mosquito unit uses.
It is MUCH cheaper.

Now all one would have to do is figure out how to rejuvenate the pads with Allethrin (the active ingredient) and the prices could be cut big time..
