Im new to the board, thinking about buying a crossbow to hunt with, so i registered, and hopefully i can learn a thing or too and get encouraged to purchase one for the up coming season

A lot of folks here have gone through the whole buffet of crossbows to settle on Excalibur. Of course we still have a few "holdouts" but they'll come around eventually :lol: You can find discussion of them in the back posts. I would say if you aren't hunting Africa, a lower to medium range model is all the crossbow you'll ever need.

Bigbore your in the right place . some of these people are expertly qualified in the sport of crossbow hunting .ihave learned much from their storehouse of knowledge . read and you will save alot of money and time .keep it simple buy excalibur
