NEW stock

I keep hearing that if you put a different stock on your bow, it will make less nosie? If ture how come? And with a custom made stock. Does the bow preform the same? Also could some one give me the name or names of people that make them? Some pictures and prices would be nice.I have a vixen brand new last year.

A wooden stock soaks up more vibration than a composite stock, the noise is deadened as the wooden stock is more dense and slows the sound down. I have 2 of Mark's stockand they cut the sound by 45 - 55 %.

Greywolf that is one good looking stock, that's got to be my favorite.

everytime I see that tiger maple stock it makes my mouth water..nice stock Dig real nice..

yes marks wooden stocks are great i couldnt do without mine..

Hoss i still check in on the forum quite a bit. Usually after im done in the stock shop for the night. I made Greywolfs stock unfinished. He wanted to use his brand finish ( waterlox ) on the wood ( Sweet ). I use a birchwood casey truoil it makes a nice finish for hunting.
