Hip Quivers

Post by johnrios »

Just got into crossbowing. Love it and addicted! My Exomax is a beauty and she gives me a REAL workout. Rear deltoids that is ... pulling up the dang string!

I am going to ask a redundant question. Anyway, I'm a crossbow only kinda guy. I mean I like shooting the thing without much other things protruding off of it, ie. Quivers.

What kind of hip quivers do you guys recommend and use. I just want to buy one hip quiver and never have to experiment with having to buy others.

Love this forum and all of your suggestions!

I've tried a few hip quivers and for function & price Cabela's has a good one.

For a bit more traditional looks and still a fair price I like Three Rivers Archery's leather model.

I own & use both and they both work fine with 20" crossbow arrows.

I am looking at the Neet Archery hip quiver for crossbow bolts. It looks like it is high quality, the model # is XY 107. Just have to find someone who can order it for me locallly. Just my choice.

I used some heavy duty cloth my wife had laying around, borrowed my wife's sewing machine, and custom made one. I double layered the cloth for strength. Not a fancy sewing job but it works and has held up well.

Thanks for all the replies. Now I have a few choices.

I've thought of making my own however with my luck I'd probably screw it up.

Thanks again.
