Hey Nix, u can put a scope on the xbow, but it can't have any magnification for alabama hunting. So it does limit you some what. I live and hunt in Alabama. I use a red dot scope on my excal exomax right now and that works just fine. Good luck.

if you can use a 76lb compound then you can cock any of the excals with the string cocking device. my exomax has a 225lb draw weight and with the cocking device it only feels like 150lbs or so.

i cant speak for the other models because i have only used the exomax. but, even at 40 yards im scared to shoot 2 times in a row because i dont want to damage the first bolt. im getting about 1" groups at 40 yards.

i posted a pic here a few weeks ago of a group i shot at 20 yards. 5 arrows went into the exact same hole with one "flyer" that was an arrow width over.

excals are very impressive...
