Please describe your problem. Did you make your own trigger? How is the prod mounted? We need more information to help you.

ok my problem is that my crossbow has tons of tension and power and i made some pretty good arrows aswell but it doesnt shoot far. What could be the problem?

i made everything including the trigger which is a kind of barrel which holds the cord back with two teeth and is released using a trigger on the underneath, its a bit hard to explain but it works.

i also made the bow out of yew and this gives plenty of tension so i cant understand! :(

i used chainsaw pull start rope for the cord, could this be a problem? i have used it on another crossbow and it worked great! so i dont see how that can be a problem. :D
