sausage making

Post by Quickshot »

Hi all, it's been a while since I have posted. Anyway hope all is well and everyone is getting pumped for the upcoming season.
My partner and I are going to start making our own sausage. What we need is to find a good grinder/stuffer. Does anyone know where we can buy these items. We would perfer to buy in the local Toronto area but will order if the product meets our needs.

Thanks in advance for any info you can give us.
enjoy the woods

Have you ever seen an Enterprise sausage stuffer. They are antiques but work very well. I bought mine on ebay and it works excellent.Different sized tubes can be purchased.

If you're just starting/trying to make sausages for your first time you could buy an inexpensive electric grinder at Zellers. That way you wont spend so much if you change your mind.

I preffer patties, love it on a bun, hamburger style. Its easier to make and package that way I think.

I made some chunky spaghetti sauce last night with ground venison. Ate two plates without the spaghetti. Soooooo good.
