Which Arizona Fletcher?

Post by johnrios »

I am truly loving my new Exomax! :D Great accuracy! :D :D

I am now venturing into fletching my own bolts and wanting to buy an Arizona Fletcher. I am primarily shooting Gold Tip Laser IIs, 20 inch.

Which Arizona Fletcher do I get? I am a right handed shooter. Straight, 1 degree right, 4 degree right or 6 degree right? Oh yeah, what size vanes and what kind?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you're bolts have 5" fletching go with the 4 degree off-set.
If you're fletching with 4" fletching you can go with the 6 degree off-set.
I like the 4" duravane at a 6 degree off-set.

Thanks guys for the advice. I now need to decide whether to use 5" or 4" vanes.
