Fred Bear Archery is Making the F- 300 series crossbows. It looks like they are making some xbows for Cabelas.

Last I was aware, they were being MADE IN CHINA. I'm still waiting for someone to purchase one.

They've got the same front end (limbs) as the Paradox/Maxpoint... I've never shot one myself but I've held one and it's a well balanced bow and not too heavy either.

If it's as reliable and accurate as the Paradox has been for me I would probably buy one if I was looking for a compound crossbow today. I like the 0% let-off idea. Ten Point have nice compound crossbows too, only heavier than the F-300 Series.

The Paradox/Maxpoint limbs were made by Bear/Jennings.

Yeah, It is made in China. It has some good points, but it feels like a Daisy BB gun stock. The one I put together and shot had a scope that would not stay on the rail. Either the rail was too narrow or the scope was too wide????
It shoots fast, but It just doen't feel too well built. I did see a Cabela's bow and it felt much better with the wooden stock and Simmon's scope.
