Got One

Post by franklinm »

Howdy Gent`s I just have to brag a little , this morning as I was setting my stand I was watching a young doe , in came a spike and off she went , as I watched him I saw what I thought was a shooter coming , well it turned out to be a nice six point , and now I have fresh meat in the fridge .
I just can`t say enough about those Excalibur`s , mined is an Exocet .
This has been the second shot at a deer , both have been six point`s , think I will just call it six killer .
Altho our deer here in Florida are much smaller than our Northern friends I am right proud of all I can get . the one I got this morning would probably go about 130 pounds , that`s pretty big here . :)

is that 6x6 or 3x3? Around these parts a 6 point would be 6x6 but I guess some places count total points. Anyway Congratz

Franklinm,

Congratulations. That's a good deer anywhere.

Although deer up here do go 300 lbs and over, most do not. I've shot lots of deer under 130 lbs and am thankful for each and every one of them.

Good shooting.
