Archer's Nook lists 3 different strings for the moulded tip bows:
Excalibur Crossbow Super String - flemish (re carved or molded tips)
Excalibur Flemish Fast Flite String (re molded limb tips only)
Excalibur Excel String (re molded limb tips only)
Which one do you use and why?
My bow came with a gray and black flemish string......but which one is it....fast flight or Super String???
More string questions.....which one???

I find the shorter endless loop string, only works with the new risers. On my 175# Exocet and 200# Exomag, I find that the brace height is too high when using it.
Even though the brace height is just right on my Exomax, when considering all the pros and cons, regardless of which Excalibur one owns, I'd go with the FF string everytime.

I think the "Excalibur Crossbow Super String - flemish (re carved or molded tips)" is a flemish type string but not fast flight made for carved limb tips.
Excalibur made these a while back and one loop was larger than the other so you can slide the larger loop down the end of the limb when storing, so the string wouldn't twist.
I have one on my Wolverine.

I put a FFF string on my phoenix and chronoed it-it shot a 298 f.p.s. consistently a gain of 6 f.p.s over the stock string that came on it-this was with a 356 grain arrow set-up-is this about right? I know they advertised the phoenix above 300 f.ps. but with this kind of accuracy I CAN'T COMPLAIN and I know this is plenty fast enough for whitetails inside of thirty yards.
