Alright, sounds cool. Can you leave such a powerful crossbow cocked for a long period of time without the worry of one of the limbs breaking off and hitting you in the face while you watching for deer? :?
I'm buying one for $500 without scope. The guy said they don't make much of a difference anyway. But they do look cool. But they cost $80!?

Guys, thanks for all the great feedback to my question. Ok, now that we have narrowed down my search for crossbows to the finalists: Ten Point & Excaliber. Then we chose Excalibur over Ten Point, and now that I've chosen Exomax in the Excalibur line, I've got to have one of those wooden stocks. I'm sure it will make it a better hunter. (Wonder if my wife will buy that one??) :D Thanks again for the great feedback.

Hey, With a exomax can I leave it cocked for several hours without a worry of it breaking and stuff? Eders.com is a good place to find good crossbows for a reasonable price. Ill be getting a exomax for 500 I guess.

You can leave them cocked all day with no ill effects.
