Good job on the machining. It looks nice. I would have thought changing a string through that rail would have been tricky.

I'm not too keen on the concept though. I'd prefer to stick with normal bolt setups.

I wonder if you could get in trouble for doing this to Excalibur crossbows... :?

What kind of paint did you use to paint the rail and sturrip black?

No, I can't get in trouble. It's one of a kind. I'm sure they will not honor any warranty.

Ok come to a website that sells xbows that your design is made for????? and your not selling????...come on......what a better place to pedal....

this is where your product buying public lives and gathers....Heck who knows it may be an awsome device...I may be eatin my words someday

You may find some on here who will help you with research and development.. but to advertise 60 yard accuracy is to promote long shots..Thats what we dont need..I know you dinounced that earlyer but it still insinuates....ok im thru off the box..

Dang, I like the black look. My Pheonix has the typical grey looking rail and sturrip, I like the black look you have.

I can not sell a crossbow that is not in production, nor can I sell an excalibur crossbow.
Accuracy is always a better thing. The hunter MUST be responsible enough to know how to use it.
Take for instance a cheap copy of a colt 45 auto. Your lucky if you can hit a pie plate at 20 feet. Now take a 45 auto Gold Cup and see what it will do.

Much rather have the accuracy when you are dealing with living animals.
Every hunter should strive for that.

The trajectory is only 20% flatter.
Keep in mind that hunting with any bow is still a range game.

I'll give you one thing. The craftsmanship looks xcellent. Dont know if I'd ever find that little bolt though. Spent 30 minutes looking for my last one in good light after my pass through shot. [ I am a ground Hunter ] And a tree Hunter might bury the whole thing.

I must apologize by the wording of the subject. It tends to imply I'm making Excalibur conversions and/or selling them. I am not.
Sorry.
Just getting feed back.
I really like the simplicity of the recurve though.

Most times your arrow is trashed anyway. The object for me is to end up with a large pile of meat for the freezer. That's worth an arrow easy.

Which would make it impossible to be able to read the blood on it as you can on a regular bolt.
