Open Excalibur Hunt

Post by devilsedge »

I would like to offer a group hunt to any members of the excalibur list, I have a little over a hundred acers north east of Peterborough and would like to try and get a group together for a crossbow hunt.

I have plenty of spots to put people, so if you would like to get out for a hunt and maybe meet a few of the guy's on the list please let me know.

I am looking at Saturday Nov 26 as the day for the hunt and we can do it as a morning hunt or and afternoon evening hunt.

If interested please let me know by responding to this post or by PM

I have done this once before and even though we did not get anything we did have a good time.

devilsedge, I'm totally interested :) I live in Peterborough, just off of parkhill. Maybe my dad and I could come out that day. :)

When you say you have spots to put everyone... do you mean treestands?

OPEN EXCALIBUR HUNT

Post by BOB VANDRISH »

Devilsedge,I would dearly love to go,but that also conflicts with a trip I have planned for the opening day of the PA hunt, which means that I leave on that same weekend.
Any other time during the archery season would suit me fine, except next week, where I will be on my way to my brothers place north of Cornwall to try my luck.
Have had a real hard time to find properties anywhere north and northwest of here, which is Brampton.
Too many Bambi huggers!

I do have some permanent tree stands and a few ground blinds, I also have lots of places for climbing stands and other spots for any one with a ground blind

Okay sweet, so we can use your treestands or ground blinds if we'd like? Are they open to us?

Brampton Mike,

No Catch, I am just opening up my property for a fun one day hunt ang group get together to any Exalibur Forum Member that can make it for a hunt.

I did this a couple of years ago and a few guy's came out and we had a good time.

I would have done it last year but my daughter got sick and I was unable to get out hunting very much at all.
