Don't you just love being outdoors!

Post by grizzled47 »

After the covering of snow on the 4th, it was looking like our planned Bonfire night celebrations were going to be a bit of a damp squib. But the snow melted, and we had our bonfire! I can't believe the amount of brush and firewood we burned!! The fire was lit around 1pm, and we were still sitting out there a few hours into the dark! Just for awhile, I felt like I was back in England! :) Mary and I both like being outdoors..whatever the weather. She just loves fires...have to keep my eye on her!??
I know the 5th of November doesn't mean anything to Canadians, but it does to me, and I really enjoyed the evening! Mary is a canadian, but she got into the spirit of things, and had a great time firemaking!!
The fire was great, and the food and wine went down well! All in all, it was a very enjoyable evening, and I hope to have many more Bonfire nights!
Now, Our first batch of wine is ready for bottling, so it looks like being a great few months coming up!! Not really a topic for a crossbow forum, but I just thought I'd share it with you...and a few pics!

You got it TYE,
There's only us here, so it has to be the timer! We do it well though, don't you think??

Looks like you have everything going for you grizzled. You are a lucky man to have such a nice place along with an outstanding lady. Enjoy your bon fire and keep those pics coming.
