SPITFIRES

lone wolf--did you have any problems w/ spitfires?

my xbow came w/ thunderheads and spitfires. the thunderheads drop off significantly faster than the spitfires or muzzys at 30 yards.

thanks

If the fixed blade broadheads like Muzzy's, Slick Tricks, Wasp's, G5 Montec's etc. shoot EXACTLY the same as a field point, in other words, they are PERFECTLY accurate. And they cut well and make a nice hole, why would you throw another point of failure into the equation? I see absolutely no advantage to using something that might fail over something that won't fail and works just as well in every other aspect???
....exactly !...why would you even want to consider it ???????????

Only one time when one of the blades caught a twig and opened it sending the bolt for a flip completely missing a deer that was just 15 yards away from me. Other than that, no problem but that one time was good enough reason for me to go back to fixed broadheads..
