And a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Adam & Hoss's daughter.
Adam, not sure why, but if you would put (somewhere around the number 35) strangers in a group the odds of two of them sharing a birthdate are very high. With all the members on this forum I'll bet many have birthdays in common.

Had a great day!!!!
Sat in the new stand location and even though I didn't see any deer I did get a visit from a Cooper's Hawk. He glided past below my stand. Got good shooting lanes cleared, checked yardages, and took practice sightings with the Phoenix to verify plenty of clearance for the bow & arrow. I plan to stay out of the area now until Thanksgiving morning. If we get the predicted weather it may be good hunting. Looks like a good chance of Image Matter of fact there was a good snow for Thanksgiving the year I was born. I don't remember it, but I've heard a lot about it. Perhaps some of the members might remember it?????

Gary L.,
Does he get many birds from your feeder? Seems like anywhere there is feed for the smaller birds the hawks soon learn to watch. The pair where I hunt like to check the feeder site. If I see all the small birds panic & disappear I can usually locate the Cooper's hawk nearby. I've noticed the chipmunks have declined in population, too.

Hey Wabi, happy birthday, take some of that loin you have, slice it and brown it good and add a half a can of beef or chicken broth, then add a good cup or so of a good bar-b -que sauce, let it simmer untill it is thick and meat is tender. Then place meat over rice or noodles. Then enjoy.

Curdog,
I plan on trying some bbq sauce with either the loin or maybe some pork later this week. Going to take a day or two for all the last batch of loin to settle  I flat stuffed myself!
