This past weekend I missed my first deer with my first attempt with the crossbow. I learned a lot from that miss - a clean miss thank goodness - and hope that I carry that knowledge with me this Friday as I make a second attempt. As others have stated, it's hunting, not shooting - and you seem to have found the joy of it all through your experience.
