I guess you would rather that no one discussed what happened at the FCAs? Is it slamming to report that certain bows had reliabilty issues during the 80 target shoot? Are we not allowed to discuss the reliability issue of certain bows on the Excalibur website? Yes I was wrong about the Excal bow having a problem. I admit that. You did however conveniently leave out that it happened during a dry-fire and not normal use. I know most manufacturers test their equipment for dry fires but in reality, that is not considered normal operating of the bow. For all we know, that bow could have been dry fired 3 times last week.
As for bashing Middleton bows, I think they are nothing but Excalibur rip-offs. Look at this picture and honestly tell me that they did not rip-off their design from Excalibur!!! Stevie WOnder could see that!!!

I mean come on! They did not even try and make them look different. I may not be a huge fan of Horton, Ten Point or Bowtech for personal reasons but at least those companies tried to introduce some of their own inovations and make a product that is different than existing ones. That bow pictured above is someone trying to make money off of someone elses creation and development.
All this is my personal opinion by the way. You don't have to agree with me but I suspect that the Webmaster here is not going to ban me because I did not jump on the Middleton's band wagon after the FCAs. Brad is a good shooter and probably could have won the tournament using any of the manufacturers bows. If the FCAs were an opportunity for manufacturers of X-bows to showcase their stuff, having them fail on an 80 target course may not be great advertising. I can't help it if word got out about the Middleton bow having a problem. I certainly will not stop questioning the reliability of different bows simpy because you are a Middleton fan and don't like to hear it. No one is asking you to agree or even forcing you to read it. If you want to dispute the issue, well then, that is your option. I do find it funny that you are on an Excalibur website defending Middleton bows and trying to lump the Excal bows in the same disabled list knowing that the shooter operated the bow incorrectly. Further to that, you are asking the webmaster to ban someone who was defending Excaliburs product? Good luck with that!!!
Now, let's go over to the Middleton forum and see what their guys are saying about the competition. Whooooops, I guess they haven't copied that part of Excalibur's operation yet.
