Isn't that the truth Mike P. I will never forget my first. It was -5 f last 5 minutes of hunting on the very last hunting day of that year. Great memories. :D

NICE BUCK BUT FOR THE SAKE OF OTHERS (ANTI'S) PLEASE CLEAN UP THE WOUND NEXT TIME WITH A PAPER TOWEL SO THEY DONT APPEAR SO GORY. THIS ALSO GOES FOR TOUNGES STICKING OUT AND OPEN BODY CAVITIES. I KNOW THAT ITS A PART OF THE HARVEST BUT IT DOESNT MAKE FOR GOOD PHOTOS. YOU WOULD NEVER SEE A PHOTO LIKE THIS IN ANY MAGAZINE OR TV SHOW.
SORRY, JUST MY OPINION.

Awesome! Healthy looking deer. You should be thrilled. I remember my first Excal buck and my heart almost jumped out of my chest when he stopped in clear view at 20 yards.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

CONGRATULATIONS :!: :!: :!: That's a pretty buck. I'd be very proud of him if I were you. In fact, my first bow kill was a nice 6 pointer. He was a beautiful buck and I was very proud of him so I had him mounted.

God Bless,
