WOw. Was shocked to see this post revived.
Partikle, I just had a horn mount done. Don't really have a spot in the current house for any mounts. Hope to someday.
Nice jacket but the panst are a mess. kept getting busted from long ranges and in deep cover iwth them on. Couldn't figure out why until I put the whole suit under a UV light. The jacket is fine but my pants glow on the dark. I emailed predator they essentially told me to Foxtrot Oscar. I offered to send them the pants after the season so they could investigate them and again they were downright assholes. Here is a photo of the pants and jacket under a light. Since deer can see in the UV spectrum and 100% of the time that I wore the pants uncovered, I got picked off, I can only suspect that there is a problem. I took the 1st pic with both articles under normal light. You can't tell them apart. Now look at them under a UV light. Tell me there is not something wrong here. The sad thing is, this is even after I treated them with the anti-UV spray.
Predator has pissed me off fo rthe last time. I hate to say it cause their clothing is warm and comfy but I will never buy another thing from them simply because of how they treated me when I contacted them with concerns.

Hey how did you do that? Now you have me wondering about mine. How can I do that test?
Most of my stands have cover from the waist down and I've been in other stands with my predator on and have not been busted so I think mine are fine but it is weird?

Use a black light. If you don't have one, just wear your pants to strip club and you will see if they glow or not.
Like I said, the jacket is fine but the pants have a problem. They were made in 2 different years so I wonder if the older stuff is faulted. A first I did not know what was going on. I thought maybe I had made a mistake setting up but when I started to get picked off at 100 yards plus in some situations where there was no way in hell I should have been seen, I started to wonder. Once I had an idea of what was going on, I could see the reaction on the deer's face when they saw the suit. After I looked at it under a UV light, I was convinced there was a problem. I contacted PC and they ignored me. I contacted them again and told them that I was going public on Archery talk if they ignored me again. They sent me a reply that simply said "we are looking into it". I Asked if they were going to do anything to help me out or if I could send them the garment to help them figure it out. They ignored me again so all I can say is PC's service department sucks!!! This is not some made up BS either. Scientists are just learning the depth of deer's vision capabilities and UV is one colour spectrum they can see. These pants have an obvious UV glow to them. Pair that with the fact that I have taken deer from the same tree with these pants covered up that I have been picked off in from 100 yards with them uncovered, I am 100% sure there is a visual problem with them. (before anyone comments, I play the wind, I don't move, I wear the appropriate camo for the surroundings etc......Last year, I did not get busted visually by a deer except the days that I wore these pants uncovered. Now I wear leafy over them and it seems to do the trick.
