How do you cook wild turkey?

I cooked one that I skinned. Put a few smoked bacon strips over it and cook
it in the oven (covered)just like any turkey. I liked the drum sticks, a bit more work but worth it. Its all good! Next time I wont skin it and cook it without the bacon. I found it took on the taste of the bacon.
My wife made the stuffing, is was all good.

Thanks every one for sharing your cooking methods with us. If I get lucky[turkey hunting]I will try your methods. Thanks for all the replies and thank the management for the forum.

I usually breast them out. Before I BBQ them, I cut it into 1" wide strips and marinate in Italian dressing over night.
