thats good that its an all girl class, the one girl in my class felt prety intimidated and didnt ask the questions she wanted too, she failed but took it again with all girls and passed no problem, i got a questions though, im about to send my first PAL away to get processed and i was wondering if i could use one of my parents for the reference? (im 17)

Before you send in your application, check whether you can even receive a PAL. Unless the law just changed, or you are a subsistence hunter, you have to wait till you are 18 to qualify. I wouldn't assume you would get your application fee refunded if you apply and they refuse you because of age concerns. No point in throwing away your money.

Your parent can act as a reference.

pydpiper you are right about the challange for PAL that's how I did mine. Had to do the written and practical challange for the long guns first then
do the written and challange for short guns. Only took a hour or so to complete both. Paid my money and left with certificate for PAL
