Happy Birthday to all!!!!! Tim, just a suggestion, around here it's not uncommon to take long rifle shot across a cutover, field, or down a dirt road. In all the excitement it can be difficult to remember how far the animal was when you shot, if you have time to range the animal first you can leave a mark where you were standing and get a range back to where you were when you took the shot. Did that make since?
God Bless !!!!!!!!!
