THANKS FOR THE GREAT WELCOME

Post by BUDFIELDS »

Hello Friends...

Golly, THANKS FOR THE GREAT WELCOME. Although I am a "ROOKIE" when it comes to crossbow knowledge, I HOPE to learn as much as I can. I have ALWAYS been intriqued with crossbows especially with their use as warfare well before firearms were invented...

Like ANY beginner, I will most likely have a TON of "DUMB QUESTIONS" but PLEASE endulge me.

Oh yeah, to answer "bait pile willie's" question about "haven't the deer figured me out yet".... I DON'T THINK THE DEER READ MY ARTICLES!!! They don't know what they are supposed to do... HA HA

Just keep posting as much information as possible and I will keep reading and learning from those "in the know.." I DO plan to give crossbow shooting and hunting LOTS of exposure in my articles and during my MANY "DEER HUNTING SEMINARS" and speaking engagements.

I too had to switch to a crossbow as I had an accident where I have been left without use in my right hand so the research began and it was finding this forum that pointed me in the direction of the excal.

What a great product!

I UNDERSTAND..

Post by BUDFIELDS »

Hello HW..

I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND... I also contacted EVERY crossbow manufacturer asking questions and advice but Mr. Troubridge of EXCALIBUR contacted me PERSONALLY and offered advice and recommendations. THAT proved to me how dedicated and concerned he was for customer satisfaction and that made my decision MUCH EASIER.. EXCALIBUR ALL THE WAY!!!!

i too have spoken with Mr. Troubridge directly a few times and to me that means alot when the owner of a major company can take the time to address some directly himself not an assistant or employee that really says something about the kind of people and the kind of organization excalibur is.

Well Folks...

You can pick on me ALL YOU WANT!!! I "AIN'T AFRAID" of anything!!!! I am a INDIANA HOOSIER basketball fan, INDIANAPOLIS COLTS football fan and I been married to the same woman for 44 years now... NOTHING SCARES ME AT ALL!!!! HA HA..

Indiana University has a TOUGH road ahead of them and the Indianapolis Colts look like the NEVER saw a player go out for a pass and are afraid to tackle anyone but a cheerleader and the wife has dropped kicked me a number of times so GO AHEAD AND PICK ON ME... I AIN'T AFRAID OF ANYTHING!!!

welcome Bud I am sure you will find that hunting with a crossbow is every bit as challenging, and rewarding as any other type of archery hunting available. Kokomo you say! I imported my wife from Kokomo I met her ther when I was stationed at grissom air force base back in the 80's and all her family is there. well enjoy your new adventure. by the way I just looked up your paper and read a couple of your articles, The best dressed hunters wear camo, and another one and enjoyed them both M&M
