Actually not, I'm 6'2''. Place the stock alongside your side rather than bending over it. Bend your knees slightly. Cock the bow using both the knees and back, pulling up and back as you straighten. (I'm 68 yrs old, with twice-cut back).
Shortening the rope (4-6") makes it sooo much easier for me to pull during the critical last 6". Had I know this trick I would have kept my Equinox...but I LOVE my Vortex that replaced it.
