Just got my new vortex a few weeks ago and hoping to try it out Oct 4th when season starts here in Pa.This will be my first xbow hunting experience.

I just started last sept but my shoulder surgery kept me out for the most part....Kinda of funny tho,I own 3 CB's and yet to get a deer,O-wait this season just started.... :D

Hello Ranger..

I KNOW all about the shoulder surgery!!! :cry: BEEN THERE... DONE THAT!!! :( Last October, I also had to have lower neck surgery and that knocked me out of the ENTIRE archery season. :( Had 4 disks removed and replaced with Teflon disks, had a bunch of bone spurs removed and they also added a 4" titanium sleeve. :shock: I was released just in time for firearms season and muzzleloader season. :)

The deer BETTER take the LONG WAY around my treestands this season!! The EXCALIBUR PHOENIX is "READY TO RUMMMMMBBBBLE!!!" :P :D :lol: :wink:
