I'll be in my treestand by 6:40 if its not poring rain,isnt 5:30 a little early? good luck.

Not when you have them timed like clock work and need to get there before they do.

Lota good that did me, the wind was all wrong today.

Was able to get out - no rain in my neck of Ontario.

Got in my climber for about 6 AM.

Slow until 9:30 then had 4 does and 1 fawn come in. Best shot was 55-60 yards broad side (one doe did come in to 45 but no vitals shown). Way to early to even think of taking a shot like that for me - very comfortable free hand to 40.

Had a late hunter come in at 35 yards quartered away - about a half hour after the does walked away.

Maybe should have gone to private land and not the public. Oh well at least I got to watch some deer just being deer.
