I shoot the equinox and love it.
Last year I had the Max so all I have ever owned is the 225's
But after my shoulder replacement surgery I may have to switch or crankaroo

My biggest reason is that when and IF I ever shoot at 40 yards, I do not want arch or such a delay in the bolt being released and the bolt striking the target. I notice the same thing at 30 yards, but not as much noticably. 20 yards is fine with the Phoenix, but I want the same or close to the same performance at 30 and 40.

Ha, I am all about the toys and have plenty. No kids, no wife allows for that. I need no excuse to buy something new and shiny!!! LOL

I have killed a couple deer with my phoenix already and I know it will do what I want it to to the 25 yard mark.

I just want to make sure that an Exomax is going to do what I want. (shoot flat out to 40 yards or beyond) and not be too big of a PITA. ( arrow pass throughs, strings, etc).

Lucky the local dealer is about 3 km from my house, and I have a 50 yard range at my house.

Phoenix is stripped and Exomax is all dialed in!!!!!!!

Thanks,
