Finally......we got one

We talked, he learned and hopefully now that he has a deer, next time he will wait or pass on the shot.....Do I think if left alone would the animal die over night, yes I think it would of...I would have to admit, and he has as well it was one extremely lucky shot to have the arrow even reach the deer with all the brush in between him and the deer.....He is still learning, his is not a young man but a new bowhunter which makes it harder I think for him to break bad habbits he has learned over the many years he has hunted (rabbits/birds)......The more time we spend in the field together the better his hunting and ethics will be....We are extremely glad of the outcome, and I look forward to teaching/learning as we continue to grow in this great sport.
