Thanks guys.

CF . . .the crazy eyes, that's actually "red eye". I'm not sure why it shows up like that. I used the "red eye" correction to fix it in the other eye, but, it would not fix that one.

Our experience this year . . . the deer were eating grass for the large part. We normally take a lot of deer eating acrons this time of year. I had to adjust slightly. The bucks were crusing the last couple of days. I let a nice eight point pass Saturday morning and there was a spike crusing the field beside my parents house as I left Monday morning. But, that was at 4 a.m., he kept his nose to the ground and didn't pay much attention to my headlights.

I saw more deceased deer on the side of the road on the way home than on the way up. Therefore, I believe, more bucks are chasing now than they were a couple of weeks ago. Or, it could just mean there were more cars on the road. Usually road kills=chasing bucks.

There were some awesome bucks taken near I-77 and I-81 near Popular Camp's shot tower for those that are familiar with the area. The pictures we saw made Bobby's 10 point look very small. The guy that got one of the monsters told us, "I couldn't get a shot at the big one". So, if you have access to hunting property there . . .better grab the crossbow and take off.
