Some of ours:
1. The Condo
2. Rob's Glade
3. The bow hunter's stand
4. The Bog stand
5. Field Stand

The property I hunt has some cool names of paths and spots on the property aswell:

1. Milo's Trace
2. Bob's Path
3. Garny's hole
4. The Deer Slide
All have interesting history.

Every time you kill a coyote an angel gets a set of wings. OK, I made that up. But it should be the case.

Nothing exotic, just:
Gary's stand (the landowner)
the back field stand
the food plot stand
the bush ladder
and Tom's stand

we also have:
the beanfield blind
the food plot blind
and the box blind

Here's a few that come to mind.

Since they are all tree stands you'd think we were monkeys.

All share the "Lastname" Stand
First
Maple Tree
Before the Maple Tree
Trail
Plantation
Gully
Next to 2nd Road
Umbrella
Portable (It's not so portable)
Behind the Shack
High
Portable behind the High
Pine Tree
Chain (Retired, no longer safe)
Apple Tree (No longer used, unproductive)
At Bottom End
Bottom End on the Birch Tree

I think we spend more time building and fixing them, then we do hunting from them.

Unless I missed it above, someone hasn't mentioned my favorite.

"The Log"

Sure, there are plenty of logs. But everyone who has hunted there knows exactly where "The Log" is located. The two biggest bucks I've taken were taken in the last two seasons from The Log. In two seasons my son and I have harvested 4 bucks and 3 doe from the same log and 1 buck from a stand beside the log.

My "American Friend" and I named ours: The island stand, for one looking over a raised, very small feild partly surounded by woods and a low area with overgrown grass. Another one is swamp stand, because it is in the low wet area. Another one called to big wooden stand (also called the should'nt have made that stand) And the newest, Most productive stand, which I added this year is called the lazy-boy. Its a gorilla lader stand, Its feels great to sit in! Its tucked in a corner, where one can see deer travel in four feilds, and deer tend to travel right within bow range. I tend to overhunt this one :)

The ones I hate the most are the ones I call "stolen stands".

Never named a stand, but to this day, there is a place on an old ATV trail in Nova Scotia named "Slaughter Corner". When I was a kid I was walking ahead of the bikes with my shotgun and came upon a flock of grouse feeding on this corner. Every step I took, another one would flush and I would drop it. I was reloading that old single shot as fast as a pump :D . My dad named it "Slaughter Corner" and the name stuck.

All tree stands...

High Pond
Piney Ridge
The Corner
The Bottleneck
Back O' the Woods
Swamp
The Crossing
Dam
Junkyard
The Big 2x4 Out Back

The Corner and the High Pond stands have been BIG producers and are only about 80 yards a part of a ridgeline.

I only had one treestand up this year and it was placed on a tree that is to small. It was not fun in the wind.

I called it the "Rodeo stand" or "Mr Toads Wild Ride"

Someone has tried to steal it several times but they cant get it.
