I have a Boo string with whiskers but just bought 2 factory FFF ones. I will order a couple of more Boo strings w/o whiskers when he starts taking orders again.

I shoot factory FFF strings on my Exomax. I even have a few spares just in case. They are loud, but they are fast.

I always made my own. I've been making strings for decades so it was no problem to make them for the Excalibur.
Then I shot one of Boo's strings! Now the Boo string is all I use!
I would go through 3 or 4 strings a year (factory or self-made) but my first Boo string is still going strong after two years of hunting. I have another for a backup, but I just keep using number one to see if I can wear it out, and so far it looks like it may outlast me!

I shoot factory strings but the shop I deal with makes me factory rated strings for 12 dollars apiece. I am not a speed demon and will stick to factory rated strings for now. Sameone restrung my compound bow for 50 dollars for the whole new set installed. He does make fast flight strings and more but xbow is fast enough for me

I shot the FFF string for a few years but switched to the Boo strings lately.. I had good luck with the FFF string, but it just doesnt hold up. The boo string is twice as strong

That's correct Mike. Brownell offers the same material called Xcel not to be confused with what Excal calls their string Excel.
