that's what i thought judging by the camo on the stock my dad has the same one but it has an automatic safety on the side i didn't know the 165 came with the manual safety too what year is it?

165 is what I've been told, but if its something else I'd be happy to be enlightened :) . It has the carved tip limbs. I bought it new at the Toronto Sportsmen's Show, probably in '95 or '96.

no you are right i am sure it is just the first i have ever seen with the manual safety. other the the safety the bows are the same. same camo both have carved tips just one has an automatic safety on the side and the othr a manual safety on the back.

does anybody know if you can still get the trigger mech with the auto safety sometimes he has to cock the bow 2 or 3 times to get the string to latch properly
