I have noticed my leftie, of course I did, but it seems to wander away from the rail as I pull. I looked at it closely and didn't see what makes it bind. But noticed it does. How does one loosen it up ?

I have been using 550 cord (military surplus parachute cord) for about the last 5 years. I adjusted the length so that it pulls the string up about an inch or so when on the bow before you pull it back. This is a comfortable length for me to cock the bow and you will want to adjust the length for whatever feels the most comfortable to you.

My original Excalibur string cocking aid has handles made by Briggs & Stratton with aluminum claws and brass rollers. It is still in service since about 94.
