the crosman 150 CO2 .22 pistol is great. im not sure when they stopped making them as mine was made in the 50's, but its worth looking for one.
i dont think id ever use a .177 after seeing how much more authority a .22 pellet has...

I will be using the 2240 for any hunting, it has much more punch then the .177 357.. But the 357 is a fun gun to shoot with the 10 shot clip !

Checkout the new Benjamin Marauder pcp- precharged pneumatic pistol that is coming out this fall. It is on the Crosman web-site. I own 2 of the Marauder rifles one in 177 cal and the other in 25 cal. These are super quite and hit hard as a hammer. The 177=1100fps the 25 is 900fps. The pistol will be in 22 cal.
I shot tree-nuters with mine last fall. both calibers will blow through 1" board like it is nothing at 20-yds.Dime size groups at 50 yds and beyond.
